Bouncing Back from the Cumbria Floods

In December 2015, Storm Desmond swept across the North of England bringing a record amount of rainfall to Cumbria. A confirmed 341.4mm of rain fell in just 24 hours which caused many rivers in the area to burst their banks, resulting in major flooding and damage. Unfortunately, due to our lakeside position at Bassenthwaite Lake, parts of our park were flooded and a few holiday homes were damaged.
