Herdwick Croft is  7 miles from Keswick which is the North Lakes’ most popular holiday and day trip destination. Nestling between the Skiddaw Mountains and Derwentwater Lake, the town is in an idyllic location with an abundance of walking, shops, cafés and restaurants.

Cockermouth is 5 miles away and is a thriving market town with medieval and Georgian streets beneath the castle walls. Cockermouth is well known for its specialty shops and many art galleries.
